Job description

The Role

Working from the UK offices of an established international textiles manufacturer, supplying high-end, luxury carpets and rugs to independent retailers and the interior design market. All orders are manufactured in their own factory in India and imported into the UK to meet customer demand.

Based from offices in Kidderminster, as Sales and Marketing Administrator you will work within a small team and take on a varied role. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in IT systems, particularly Sage, Excel, and Word. This role requires a proactive individual with a flexible approach to daily tasks, who can efficiently manage various responsibilities related to sales, customer service, and marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and make calls to customers and the internal Sales Team.
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer service inquiries and complaints, including compiling and sending letters.
  • Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock control procedures.
  • Create and update budgets for marketing purposes.
  • Monitor website data and facilitate updates as needed.
  • Utilize Mailchimp communication system for customer email updates.
  • Coordinate with the Warehouse for orders to be cut, wrapped, and dispatched.
  • Generate and manage customer invoices, including monitoring aged debt.
  • Organize samples for customers.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in IT data input, with experience in Sage being advantageous.
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Excel and Word, including the use of lookups.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Online marketing experience, to include social media, website updates, blogs and newsletters.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and task management.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.


Based in Kidderminster.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
