CNC Operator

We are looking for a number of skilled CNC Operatives for our client in Worcester. This role is a straight Permanent opportuntity.

Duties:

• Operating 5-Axis CNC Milling Machines
• Produce accurate, high quality components
• Working to specified tolerances
• Quality checking your own work meets the required standard
• Working to your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
• Communicating with managers to implement the companies policies and business objectives
• To keep a clean and manageable working area
• Responsible for health, safety and environmental risks and report them as appropriate
• Working to manufacturing schedules and maintaining product quality at all stages

Candidate Specification:

• To work to deadlines and achieve required output
• Used to working to tight tolerances
• Use a variety of manual measuring equipment
• Heidenhain experience desirable but not essential
• Flexible, positive and courteous working approach
• Confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Hours

This role position if fully site based with core hours Friday to Sunday.

Core Hours:

Friday - Sunday: Rotating Shifts

1st Week - 6am to 6pm

2nd Week - 6pm to 6am

12 x Hour Shifts

Weekends Hours

At total of 36 hours per week must be worked.

Requirements:

• Previous mechanical/instrument assembly experience
• Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
• Basic understanding of electronics
• Good verbal communication
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
